Topic/Theme: A break from the norm: Our second annual whisky and dinner pairing, accompanied by the film “Whisky Galore”

     We paired the smoky, delicious, Bowmore Legend with smoked almonds and smoked cheddar.  The salty, coastal, Old Pulteney 12 matched well with bacon wrapped salt potatoes sprinkled with parmesan.  The main course featured the delicately sweet, vegetal Cragganmore 12 pairing wonderfully with a chicken breast covered in zucchini, summer squash, sautéed onions, and Portobello mushrooms, topped with mozzarella.

   Thank to Jill Sexton for doing the cooking- a marvelous job!!!!!

1. July meeting will be July 10^th.  June’s is June 12^th.
2. Any musicians in the club- feel free to bring instruments to the June meeting and show off your craft!
3. James Castellani, owner of the Wine and Liquor Outlet, will be at the June meeting as a guest speaker.
4. Congrats to David Duke for achieving membership status.
